The Neighborhood Advice-Action Council is honored to have the support of Hundredoc Limited to produce a film called "The Manors", which is performed by persons with disabilities from our organization. The film is based on the stories of 3 individuals with disabilities, depicting their daily lives and the journey of their caregivers. It showcases the love and growth within their families, with both heartwarming and emotional moments. This is the first film in Hong Kong's history to feature persons with disabilities as the lead actors. Their participation is not for sympathy or pity, but to showcase their potential as actors and their right to equal participation. Our organization is a supporting organisation for the film "The Manors". We hope that through the film, various sectors of society can better understand and pay attention to the needs of persons with disabilities. The fundraising goal is to establish dental services for persons with disabilities and their caregivers, so that they can receive proper treatment.
